Our BE-KIND promise is to make recommended foods the 1st and predominant ingredient in our recipes. Nuts, fruits, wholegrains are recommended foods that we are not eating enough of today, and low intakes are associated with increase risk of disease. Packaged foods can help people eat more recommended nutrient dense foods, like nuts. Our goal is to make nutritious foods like nuts into great tasting snack bars. Whole nuts are the first ingredient in our recipes, offering a portion* of nuts in almost every bar.

We are not currently pursuing organic certification for our BE-KIND products. Our top priority is to invest in quality, premium ingredients, while keeping our products accessible. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that their standards are in line with BE-KIND’s brand values.

BE-KIND bars contain ingredients like honey and glucose syrup which are used to add just the right amount of sweetness and to bind all the ingredients into a bar format. A BE-KIND 40g bar contains between 4-8g of sugar, and a BE-KIND Protein 50g contains between 7.5-9g of sugar.

Nuts are the predominant ingredient in BE-KIND bars. Nuts are naturally an energy dense food, high in unsaturated fat (good fats). Other foods high in unsaturated fat include seeds, olives, avocado, soy, which are recommended to be consumed as part of a healthy balanced diet. BE-KIND bars are a convenient and tasty way to get more nuts and good fats into your diet.

On average, the nut bars contain 209 calories and 23g nuts. So, nuts provide 142 of those calories or 70% of the total calories. Nuts are nutrient dense which means they have more nutrients for the calories.

No genetically modified ingredients are used in the production of BE-KIND snacks.

Any BE-KIND™ bars that have unsweetened chocolate as an ingredient contains 100 percent cacao.

Most countries have food-based dietary guidelines that are similar to those defined by the World Health Organization (WHO). Local nutrition policies tailor recommendations to relevant dietary customs and locally available foods.

Yes, we currently use real vanilla bean in select items. Other items vanilla-containing products use vanilla extract.

All BE-KIND products that carry the "Gluten Free" claim, are produced, prepared and/or processed in a way to avoid contamination and each batch of product is tested to verify compliance (<20ppm) prior to release to our consumers.

BE-KIND products are suitable for certain Vegetarian lifestyles, as our products are primarily plant based but may contain dairy. Please refer to product label for ingredient list.

Most of our BE-KIND products contain honey, and some of our BE-KIND products may contain dairy which may not fall within some vegan diets. Please refer to product label for ingredient list.

BE-KIND products are certified Kosher. BE-KIND products that are Kosher and contain dairy and/or are made on a line which runs dairy ingredients are marked Kosher Dairy.   

All our products are Halal suitable

Our BE-KIND (non UK/IRE) packaging is currently not recyclable, however, we are actively exploring options for recyclable or design-for-recyclability wrappers. We remain committed to using the minimum amount of packaging necessary to ensure product safety and freshness.
